Friday Favorites

January 27, 2012

I’m starting a new weekly feature called “Friday Favorites”. It’s a pretty popular segments amongst the blogging community. Basically I’ll just be posting pictures and talking about five things that I’ve been loving, crushing on, or obsessing over the past week.

1. Carnival Weddings

I’ve spent most of the week searching the web for wedding inspiration for ModCloth’s Pinterest contest, and I’ve fallen in love with carnival themed weddings. There’s just something so adorable about ferris wheels, carousels, and cotton candy. Click here if you’d like to check out my entry, and feel free to follow me while you're at it.

2. Downton Abbey

Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s been obsessing over this television series? It’s amazing: dramatic, witty, and charming. If you’re not watching then you need to. Seriously. Masterpiece Theater. PBS. Sundays at 9pm. Watch it. Now. Actually you should probably go watch season 1 on Netflix first. It won’t take long (only seven episodes). I promise you won’t regret it.

3. Baked Chicken Nuggets

Did you know chicken nuggets could be healthy? Or at least low calorie? Well they can and they’re delicious. I made a variation of these on Wednesday night and I can safely say that this will be a reoccurring meal in the Sterling household.

4. Vintage Tea Pots

How adorable are these things? I definitely think I need to start a vintage teapot collection. I mean, seriously, wouldn’t these look so charming displayed in my kitchen?

5. Maritime Moxie Dress from ModCloth

I am so in love with this dress. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. *dreamy sigh*

So, what are your favorites this weeks?
