My parents surprised us with a visit yesterday so I didn’t have time to write this week’s Friday Favorites post on Friday, so it’s coming to you all a day late.

Friday Favorites: Pink

When I was a little girl I was obsessed with pink. It was the only color for me. If that dress wasn’t pink, I wouldn’t wear it. If that toy didn’t come in pink I didn’t want it. AsI got older I grew out of it and actually came to hate the color by the time I was in my teens. But now, the cycle has come full circle and I love the color pink once again.

Today is National Cow Appreciation Day – at least that’s what the signs at Chick-fil-A say.

I love cows. Seriously, they’re one of my favorite animals. We drive past fields of cows all the time and whenever we do I have this overwhelming urge to go and hug them. Or at least just go and sit in the field and stare at them…
