So, we finally got around to switching the bedrooms upstairs meaning we now sleep in what used to be our office/craft/storage room. You can see some before photos here. The main reason for the change, is the walk in closet. I’m slowly redecorating it with little projects and things to showcase my clothes and accessories. My first project was this “what to wear” section and daily outfit planning pins.
I took seven clothespins and painted them neon pink and orange – these are the colors I chose for my new closet.
Once the paint dried I used a permanent marker to write the days of the week on each one. I wrote them in French, because, well, everything’s cooler in a different language.
Now I can use them to plan out my outfits for the week. I just clip them onto the hanger holding the shirt/dress/skirt I plan to wear that day.
I also made a sign and hung it on the door with a hook underneath for what I plan to wear that day.
A close up of the sign:
The lighting in the closet is pretty crappy, so here’s a better shot with the door open and some natural light from the bedroom window.
I love everything about this little project! The bright colors, my cute little sign, how quick/easy it was to complete, and most of all how much easier it’s going to make planning outfits and getting ready each day!

What a cute idea! I think that my oldest daughter would love to do this!
This is such a great idea. I really like the colors that you used! I would love if you would share this and any other posts at Showcase Your Talent Thursday http://whatscookinglove.blogspot.com/2012/07/showcase-your-talent-thursday-14.html. I hope to see you there!
This would be a great idea for my younger kids (once I start letting them choose their own clothes - LOL).
Thank you so much for linking up to Tasty Thursdays last week. This post will be FEATURED this week. I love the simple organization!!
