Fangirl Fashions #1

May 07, 2013

Welcome to a brand new weekly segment where I’ll be featuring a few awesome geeky fashion finds. I come across so many great pieces of clothing and accessories on my daily web hunts that I decided I needed a whole post to showcase them. These picks wont just be limited to specific fandoms, but will cover a wide range of genres – steampunk, fantasy, sci-fi, etc. -  basically anything I think a geek girl would love to have in her closet, you can find it here.

So let’s get started, shall we?

Harry Potter Bracelet from gogowrist via Etsy

This Harry Potter bracelet from Gogo Wrist is so beautiful! The Deathly Hallows symbol, the owls, and the snitch all tied together with leather rope = perfection.

Hello Sweetie Glow in the Dark T-Shirt (light) via ThinkGeekHello Sweetie Glow in the Dark T-Shirt (dark) via ThinkGeek

This Doctor Who t-shirt from ThinkGeek has a special surprise when you turn out the lights.
[I really didn’t mean for that to sound so dirty]

The Stylish Geek

This entire outfit from The Stylish Geek is just incredible! But especially that skirt [available at Nordstrom] and the POW! hairclip [from a Halloween shop of all places]. Love it all so much!

NES Nintendo Cartridge Ring by OhMyGeekness on Etsy

You can wear your favorite NES game with accessories from Oh My Geekness. It’s not just limited to rings though – they also have earrings, necklaces, and even cuff links and they can all be customized with whatever game you’d like in either a gold or grey cartridge. So cool!

Star Wars Comic Book Vintage Head Scarf from OhHoneyHush on Etsy

I think every girl needs a good vintage head scarf in her wardrobe and if you can have one covered in Star Wars comics that’s even better. This scarf from Oh Honey Hush is definitely going on my wish list!

That wraps up the first week of Fangirl Fashions! Hope you enjoyed looking through this week’s finds and maybe even purchasing one of them yourself!
