I couldn’t agree more with this, but I’d have to add Mara Jade to the list. She just has to be re-canonized.

No, I’m not pregnant. These are just real cute!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
I’ll admit it, I’m a hardcore shipper. So when I saw that I had missed the “Favorite Fictional Couples” prompt for 5 Fandom Friday back in February, I knew I had to do a little back tracking and share my favorite OTPs.

Once again Weekly Wonders is a few days late due to a jam packed weekend. I took the babies in to get fixed on Saturday morning and spent the rest of the day cleaning and fixing up my patio and living room. Once the kittens were home and ready to rest and recover we had a little joint birthday party for Andrew and myself with Andrew’s family. And that was just Saturday! On Sunday we continued our birthday celebrating at the beach with some friends in the afternoon then met up with a friend from college in the evening at The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival. So yeah, busy, busy weekend, but I finally had some time today to sit down and share some of the wonderful things from around the web this week.

I’m a huge fan of the Hellboy films and all of the recent hype Ron Perlman has been trying to stir up for a third movie lately has got me really excited that it might actually happen. And if it does, Rob Csiki has already created a pretty epic movie poster for it.

Hope you all had an awesome weekend whether it was super busy like mine or you were able to relax and take it easy!
During my hiatus I missed out on some great 5 Fandom Friday prompts, so I thought I’d backtrack and do a few of my favs. This week I’m doing May 15th’s prompt, 5 Most Binge Worthy Shows. Here are my picks:
I have a major thing for sidekicks, especially Kid Flash, so it’s no surprise that Young Justice is one of my favorite shows. I never get tired of watching it and have binge watched the entire series several times. Of course that’s not too hard to do since there were only two seasons – darn you Cartoon Network and DC for always canceling my favs! **cough cough Teen Titans cough cough**
The Guild is another show I repeatedly binge watch. Felicia Day is a genius and the writing of this show always makes me laugh. In fact, there are times when I stick in my headphones at work and just listen to the episodes. Yep, The Guild is definitely a fav.
I’m fairly confident that Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of, if not THE, best animated show in existence. I love everything about this series and will never tire of rewatching it all the way through.
ANTM is definitely a guilty pleasure binge watch. So much about this show annoys me to no end, but I still can’t stop watching it. The fashion and the photo shoots are so intriguing and I always manage to find some girl (or guy in recent cycles) to route for.
I have so much fun following the teams around the globe on The Amazing Race. Anytime I watch this show I convince myself that Andrew and I should audition for it. It seems like it would be so much fun! You know, if we were actually in shape, and knew different languages, and could drive a stick shift (that always seems to be a hang up for at least one team every season!). Oh well, maybe someday we’ll get there, but until then I’ll just continue to binge watch the show and experience the race from the comfort of my own home.
Today is my sweet husband’s birthday. There are no words to adequately express how much I adore this guy, or how proud I am of him, or how lucky I feel to have him in my life. He is my Dead Sea – I’ll never sink when he’s with me. I might have stolen that from a Lumineer’s song, but the sentiment is true all the same. Here’s to you Andrew! I love you and am so glad you were born.
Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic week. Mine was stressful to say the least, but in a good way. We “temporarily” added two new kitties to our family. They’re brother and sister, a little under a year old, and totally adorable! Their owners moved and didn’t want to take them along so they were staying at a friend’s apartment for the past couple months. She wasn’t able to keep the cats long term and I couldn’t bare to have them sent to the shelter and get separated so Andrew and I decided to foster them until we could find them a forever home. We named them Roy and Marceline and they are so sweet! They’ve only been here a couple days, but I already can’t imagine getting rid of them. We’ll see how this whole “fostering” thing goes, but I’m thinking we might just end up with a family of four cats soon. :3 :3 :3 :3
Anyway, enough of the recap, here are this week’s wonders from around the web!

So many great videos were released this week at SDCC, including this trailer of sorts for the CW’s Legends of Tomorrow. It recaps Oliver Queen’s and Barry Allen’s journeys to become Green Arrow and The Flash and introduces the new heroes legends that will be on the show all with incredible comic book art mixed in. I’m excited!
Another great SDCC release is this behind the scenes look at Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. I’ll admit I have my doubts about the new trilogy, mainly the fact that it differs from the extended universe I’ve come to know and love. But this video restored my hope for this new set of movies and I gotta say I’m starting to get pretty excited for December.
How adorable are these Loch Ness Monster Ladels! My kitchen needs these little guys, like ASAP. (from Soho Design Shop)
